To help your child succeed on the Secondary 5 French Ministry exam, we’ve gathered all the key information, including exam dates, evaluated skills, allowed materials, and useful resources to support effective preparation.
The 2025 French Ministry exam will take place on May 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
A preparatory file will be handed out to students on May 1.
During the exam, your child will be asked to write a 500-word open letter.
Marks are awarded based on how well they adapt to the writing situation, the coherence of the text, the use of appropriate vocabulary, sentence structure, and adherence to spelling and grammar conventions.
